Q. What is myBRC and why has MYOB developed this website?
myBRC is a free online resource for Australian small business that cuts through the internet clutter to provide trusted information, tools and resources quickly and easily.
MYOB has developed myBRC because we want to help you run your business as well as possible. We're aiming to build a community where business owners can share knowledge and experience and help each other.
Q. On the site it says myBRC Beta Release - what does this mean?
A beta release refers to a product that has been released so that it can be tested in a real-world environment before it's finalised. The myBRC Beta site gives users the opportunity to provide feedback on your experience, so that the site can be shaped in a way that is meaningful to you. Any suggestions on how the site can be improved can be made through the Contact Us section.
Q. Who writes the content on myBRC?
A whole range of people contribute to the content on myBRC. These include:

Q. How do the different article types work?
There are several different types of content throughout myBRC:
Gist articles give you an introduction to a topic or idea. For example, a gist article might briefly explain what intellectual property is, and give suggestions to help you research it further.
Articles are more detailed discussions about specific topics.
Audio/video content is multimedia, for example an audio interview with a subject expert, or a video lesson.
News articles focus on current affairs and hot issues at the moment.
Resource articles generally recommend an online tool that we've found in our travels and think you might find useful.
Premium content can only be accessed by registered users. You can identify premium content by the image that appears next to it that says Members Only. If you try to access premium content and you're not registered or you haven't logged in, you'll be asked to sign up or log in.
