Record keeping can be tedious and time consuming, but unfortunately there's no way to avoid it. Thankfully the Workplace Ombudsman has produced some free workplace templates that employers can use for record-keeping purposes:

-- Time and wages
-- Employment details
-- Leave records
-- Casual workers timesheet
-- Full time and regular part time workers time sheet
-- Irregular part time workers time sheet
There are two formats available - a normal PDF that you can print out and fill in by hand, or an interactive version that you can complete online and/or save to your computer for your records.
